We have a passion to empower men and women
to choose life.

According to The Iowa Initiative, almost half of
all pregnancies in Iowa and across the United
States are unintended.  Unplanned pregnancies
happens to women from diverse racial and ethnic
backgrounds, at various economic levels, with
many different life circumstances.  The pressures
these women face may be very different.  Some
may wonder how a baby would impact their
ability to finish college or pursue their career.  
Others may be concerned about how their
partner, family, or friends will react.  Others face
financial pressures, a lack of housing or other
basic needs.  Still others may feel that another
baby would put their ability to care for their
other children at risk.

No matter what the situation, these men &
women share many of the same feelings:
confused, afraid, cautiously excited,
overwhelmed.  Sadly, many also feel alone.  They
don't know where to go for answers or where to
find support.
That's why Bridgehaven is here.

At Bridgehaven Pregnancy Support Center, we
minister in the circumstances surrounding
pregnancy, especially unplanned pregnancy...

... during the moments women or couples first
discover they're pregnant and throughout their
time of weighing their choices.

... after the "choice"- providing holistic support
for women and men who have chosen to parent;
encouragement and partnerships with other
organizations for women and men who have
chosen to make an adoption plan; and a place to
find healing and restoration for women who have
chosen abortion, months or years ago.

... and even before pregnancy, empowering teens
and young adults to live a lifestyle of sexual
integrity through abstinence-centered community
education and mentoring.

Our team is motivated by our shared faith in
Jesus Christ, who powerfully demonstrated the
value and dignity of each person in His life,
death, and resurrection.  We seek to help each
person we serve realize his or her inherent
dignity and value, and to help them make
choices that reflect the value of life.
