A Letter from the Board Secretary

Serving on Bridgehaven’s Board has been such a blessing. I’m constantly reminded why this ministry matters so much—not only because of the services we provide, but because of the saving faith we share in Jesus Christ. At the end of the day, it’s His love that drives us and His Gospel that gives true hope to the families we serve.

This year feels especially urgent. Access to the abortion pill in our state has changed the way many women face unplanned pregnancies. For some, it feels like an “easy” solution offered in private—but what isn’t talked about is the weight, the fear, and the heartbreak that often follow. At Bridgehaven, we see the faces and hear the stories behind those decisions. We get to sit with women, listen to them, and remind them that they are not alone—that there is hope in Christ and practical help through our ministry.

At the same time, God keeps bringing more families to us than our building was ever designed to hold. Between pregnancy support, parenting classes, men’s mentoring, post-abortion healing, and distributing resources, our space is stretched thin. It’s a good problem, but it’s still a problem. We need more room to serve the way God is calling us to serve. To accommodate this growing need, we have stepped out in faith with plans to expand our blueprint through the purchase and remodel of our building.

That’s why I’m reaching out. Leaders like you can make a real difference. Whether it’s through financial support, in-kind donations, or sponsoring one of our events, your partnership helps us keep saying “yes” when families come through our doors. More than that, your involvement shows our community that life matters, families matter, and faith in Christ changes everything.
